On the 13th December 2013 in the historical centre of Venice, the project final event took place. More then 50 people participated coming from many public institutions (such as Veneto Region, Venice Municipality or Port Authorities) and the private sector.
The intervention brought the public to understand the methodology followed to achieve the Greensite prototype results and the possible future development of its new technology.
Among the speakers, we can enlist Ms Isabelle Ryckbost ESPO Secretary General, Mr Paolo Costa President of Venice Port Authority, Mr Jos Brils for SedNet Organization, and all the GreenSite project partners.
Port of Hamburg. Given the interest of the port to the new projects for the treatment of sediments was presented the draft Green Site and the related results obtained by evaluating the applicability of the technology to the types of sediments of the harbor area of Hamburg, comparing it with the processes currently used by the same for treatment. Meeting in October 2013.
It is the second workshop held today in Green Site, dedicated to the presentation of the system and ended with a visit to the same at the site of Alles.
